Freedom Fidos, a nonprofit organization,empowers veterans, first responders, and others with disabilities-as well as dogs. Canines are rescued from animal shelters and trained to become medical-instrument service dogs, providing independence and companionship to their new owners. Training is funded entirely by donations.
